...and we can add the QLS QA100 pure digital amp to that list of Sumoh-beaters (http://qlshifi.com/en/wzcapi/qa100.htm). Full volume control, I2S input, multiple digital inputs, superior CS8416 chipset, same price etc. This amplifier should handily put Sumoh, Jonas Svedsson, and his junk Squeezebox-only amp to bed.

Listen to your potential customers, or watch them go to your competitors...

"...is the only 100% digital amplifier in the world in its price range". Nonsense. The Firestone Audio Big Joe III is comparable in price and is fully specified. The Sumoh product (in fact, all sumoh products) lack volume control and are only usanle with mid-fi equipment like Squeezebox. The Squeezebox may offer bit-perfect audio, but not when output from it variable digital output -- which is the only way to drive the sumoh. I have raised this issue with sumoh, and all that result is insulting smart-ass replies from the MD. Fine -- if sumoh want to make their digital amp incompatible with every CD and DVD player on the planet, then that's fine: their loss and Firestone's gain, but the financial difficulties that sumoh find themselves in will only increase by tying their fortunes to those of Logitech -- a company who are about to have the rug pulled out from beneath them by all things Airplay...

I feel BMW and specifically M-Tech has shifted in the proper route again with their line of models after the new millenium. I took a test drive in the new M3 last month and I am just astounded.
